The City of Rossland will hold the inaugural meeting of its 2026-2030 council on Monday, November 2, at 6 p.m. in council chambers at City Hall, 1920 Third Avenue, according to a city notice reported by the Boundary Sentinel.
The city invited the public to attend in an October 29 notice announcing the meeting. The notice also includes a link to the agenda, allowing residents to review the business scheduled for the opening session.
The meeting follows the October 17 municipal election and begins the council's new four-year term. Residents interested in attending can find the agenda through the city's announcement.
The inaugural session is the formal opening of the new council term, with the incoming council taking up its duties for the West Kootenay community.
