In Ilorin, an ex-convict was re-arrested for trafficking crack cocaine

 


Yusuf Sherifat, 36, was recently re-arrested by agents of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in Ilorin, Kwara State, after serving a prison sentence for dealing in 22 grams of crack (c*caine).

According to Femi Babafemi, the Agency's Director of Media and Advocacy, the ex-convict was apprehended on Tuesday, September 7, along Specialist Hospital Road, Alagbado, Ilorin, following intelligence reports that she had started crack (cocaine) sales in the city. She invented a new method of distributing drugs along the road to known customers who contact her via phone calls this time.
