Six Nigerians are on the UAE's worldwide terror watchlist.



The decision was made in accordance with UAE cabinet resolution N0. 83 of 2021.

The decision, according to Al Arabiya News, is part of the UAE's objective to disrupt terrorism financing networks and put an end to their activities.



On the list are six Nigerians:

  1. Abdurrahaman Ado Musa
  2. Salihu Yusuf Adamu
  3. Bashir Ali Yusuf
  4. Muhammed Ibrahim Isa
  5. Ibrahim Ali Alhassan
  6. Surajo Abubakar Muhammad

Other nationals on the list are: Ahmed Mohammed Abdulla Mohammed Alshaiba Alnuaimi (UAE), Mohamed Saqer Yousif Saqer Al Zaabi (UAE), Hamad Mohammed Rahmah Humaid Alshamsi (UAE), Saeed Naser Saeed Naser Alteneiji (UAE), Hassan Hussain Tabaja (Lebanon) and Adham Hussain Tabaja (Lebanon) among others.
Some of the entities listed as terrorist organizations in the UAE are Ray Tracing Trading Co LLC, H F Z A Arzoo International F Z E, Hanan Shipping L.L.C, Four Corners Trading Est, Sasco Logistic L.L.C, AlJarmouzi General Trading LLC, and Al Jarmoozi Cargo & Clearing (L.L.C).

The development comes after the UAE cabinet passed resolution N0. 83 of 2021, which names 38 people and 15 companies as supporters and financiers of terrorism in the country.
The country's law enforcement agencies have been ordered to take the required action against the persons or businesses, as well as anyone linked with them.

Six Nigerians were sentenced to ten years in prison in the United Arab Emirates in 2020 for supporting Boko Haram.
