Dominic Fike's third album How To Quit Smoking arrives October 30 on Columbia Records, and it could not be better timed. According to Billboard-linked coverage, the singer's re-released 2018 single "Babydoll" has become his first Pop Radio No. 1 and climbed into the Hot 100 top 10 this week, his first-ever appearance there.
The album, announced August 28, has been previewed by lead single "Wallflower" and follow-up "Small Town" featuring rising artists Emma Ogier and Gabriel Jacoby. Columbia Records notes that "Babydoll" surpassed a billion Spotify streams in March after going viral on TikTok, turning an eight-year-old song into the biggest hit of Fike's career.
Fike has spent 2026 building to this moment, expanding his Comedy Tragedy Parody Tour across North America in August and September and performing at the Arcosanti FORM Music Festival on October 10. Columbia frames the album as the next chapter after 2023's Sunburn and 2025's candid mixtape Rocket, released the year he became a father.
With a Pop Radio chart-topper and a Hot 100 top 10 single arriving in the same week as his album, Fike is having the commercial breakthrough his cult following has predicted for years.
The album arrives at the peak of a remarkable year. Fike's 2026 began with the TikTok-driven resurrection of "Babydoll," continued through his Comedy Tragedy Parody Tour across Australia and North America, and included a high-profile acting chapter via HBO's Euphoria. As Ticketmaster notes, his profile has only grown since his 2023 album Sunburn, and fatherhood, he has said, has become a primary motivator for his sobriety and stability. With a Pop Radio No. 1, a Hot 100 top 10 and a third album landing in the same fortnight, Dominic Fike is having the commercial moment his cult following always insisted was coming.
