Kim Kardashian has opened up about the challenges of co-parenting with her former husband Kanye West in her new biography, Citizen Kim: The Woman Who Created the Future, published on 27 October 2026, according to E! Online and JustJared.

According to E! Online, Kardashian said: 'I worry about him all day. All the time. That's the father of my kids, I'll never not worry about him. And that's a big burden of having kids with someone who you don't necessarily get along with.' The couple, who divorced in 2022, share four children: North, 13, Saint, 10, Chicago, 8, and Psalm, 7.

According to JustJared, Kardashian said she does everything she can to shield her children from tensions, and sometimes tells them their father is travelling when his plans change. She said she wants them to think their father is the best, and encourages a strong relationship with him.

Kardashian also described an open-door approach to family contact, according to E! Online. She said she communicates with West through his wife or through a friend who is also his manager, and has invited West and his wife Bianca Censori to family dinners, including Christmas plans.

According to JustJared, Kardashian said co-parenting has been relatively smooth for a while, which she puts down to the fact that they do not talk much. She added that when they do see each other, they give each other a hug, and that she prays things improve for the sake of her children.
