Venice Hosts Amour 2026 as Romance Travel Industry Gathers This Week

Venice is preparing to welcome the international romance travel industry this week as Amour 2026 returns to the city where it first launched in 2017. According to Travel and Tour World, the event runs November 6 to 9 at the JW Marriott Venice Resort and Spa on Isola delle Rose in the Venetian Lagoon.

Organised by Private Luxury Events, Amour 2026 is aimed at businesses serving couples planning weddings abroad, luxury honeymoons and exclusive romantic holidays. According to the organisers, about 100 international exhibitors and 110 buyers are expected, with participants offered 43 personalised business meetings alongside destination experiences and evening networking events.

Ireland and the Dominican Republic are among the destinations using the gathering to build ties with wedding planners and romance travel buyers. According to Travel and Tour World, Ireland's tourism industry is promoting historic castles, countryside estates and luxury accommodation, while the Dominican Republic is highlighting Caribbean destination weddings and premium resorts.

The event also hosts the Love Travel Awards, with winners revealed on the final evening in Venice. According to the official Amour programme, the awards celebrate the professionals and properties that set the standard in romance travel.

For couples, the business behind the event matters because the planners, hotels and honeymoon specialists meeting in Venice this week will shape the destination wedding and honeymoon packages on offer through 2027.
